Accompanied driving (AAC)

You're 15 and already want to learn to drive? So don't hesitate and come to the agency to find out: a professional will explain the course of your training "accompanied driving".

Also referred to as "early driving learning" (AAC), accompanied driving prepares for the driver's licence examination through more driving practice.

  • A better success rate at the first stage than conventional learning
  • A more diversified experience: at least 1 year of driving, with several attendants, on as many vehicles as you want, in all weather (brush, night, rain...)

The process

  • Initial training at the agency (code + 20 lessons* in manual gearbox or 13 lessons* in automatic gearbox) up to AFFI
  • 2 hour advance appointment with the attendant
  • At least 1 year driving with the attendant, on as many vehicles as you want
  • 2 educational appointments of 3 hours each (2 hours in the room and 1 hour by car), the first in 4 to 6 months, the second before the exam
  • Practical examination from 17 years old

Attendant

He must hold a driving licence for at least 5 years, have not committed a serious road offence, have not had a responsible accident for at least 2 years, and have obtained the agreement of his insurer.
